International Coffee Day Celebrations on 1st October 2018

On Monday, 1 October 2018, Kenya will join the 77 Member States of the International Coffee Organization (ICO) and dozens of coffee associations from around the globe will join in celebration of the fourth annual International Coffee Day.

International Coffee Day is a global celebration of coffee’s journey from the farm to your local shop — an opportunity to honour the women and men who grow and harvest the coffee we love.

The Kenya national celebrations will take place at at General Kassam Stadium in Kianyaga, Kirinyaga County. The activities to celebrate the day include coffee farm visits, brewing, cupping, sampling, exhibition and awards for women who have made contribution to the growth of Kenya coffee sector.
